TERMS & CONDITIONS
Thank you for your Christmas order.
Whilst we do our absolute best to fulfil each customer’s needs at Christmas, please appreciate it is not always possible, and we rely wholly on what is being caught and available locally at the time.
In terms of cooked prawns, although you may have specified a size in your order, we do our best to meet that request, however it depends on what size is being caught in the lead up to Christmas eve. As a result, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the exact size you order.
In terms of fresh fish, although you may have specified a specific fish in your order, we do our best to meet that request, however it also depends on what fish is being caught in the lead up to Christmas eve. As a result, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the exact fish you order.
This year, we've asked for a 50% deposit on your christmas seafood order to secure the order. Please note that the prices listed will not increase, rather decrease and your deposit on the day will be taken off the final bill regardless.
Please note some prices are not currently listed, as such products like Mud Crabs or Lobsters are not priced until the week of Christmas. Any orders for such TBA priced items will be advised to you closer to the date.
Your deposit will be held in credit for your order so that on that day, items such as 1 kilo of cooked medium ocean prawns can be weighed appropriately and adjusted accordingly.
For example, if you've ordered 1 kilo of cooked prawns and when weighed on the day if it falls under 1 kilo, your deposit will merely be removed from the final bill. The same goes for ordering 250g of Cooked Sand Crabs but on the day it weighs at 262g. You will then be required to pay the extra amount owing on the Sand Crab as the deposit will merely be removed from the final billed amount.
Amendments to your order are not guaranteed, especially in the event of late notice. We will do our best at the time of collection to fulfil any amendments. We reserve the right not to accept any changes within 48 hours.
Cancellations of orders will receive a refund of their deposits, as long as we have a 48 hours notice of the cancellation of the order.
Any orders not cancelled within 48 hours will void their deposit refund.
Please note, due to this being a very busy time of year, all cancellations requests need to be emailed to us at rufuskingseafoodsamitypoint@gmail.com to cancel any orders.
We do not accept cancellations via social media, phone call or text message.
Please make sure you receive an email back from us, confirming the cancellation, so we may process your refund of the 50% deposit.
Please note seafood is in high demand at Christmas and our team work around the clock to prepare and source products in the lead up to Christmas Eve. We ask for your cooperation, patience and communication of any amendments or cancellations of your orders as soon as possible leading up to the collection of your seafood.
Your name will be used to pick up your order on the day, please come prepared; bring a hat and/or umbrella and water! If someone else is collecting your order on the day, please either advise us in the notes of taking your order, or via contacting the store directly 48 hours before collection.
Please note all orders placed here are to be collected from Rufus King Seafoods Amity Point over the Christmas period. Any order placed for collection here at Rufus King Seafoods Amity Point cannot be sent to The Prawn Shack at Point Lookout for collection.
